Judgment and Self-blaming

  Hello!  Have you ever been largely engrossed in something then suddenly remembering a past mistake you regret? Something you wish to change? Something that you wish that the ground would've swallowed you alive before it actually happened. No matter how much time passes by that one mistake, it ends up coming back to mind with all of its unhealed pain.    The reason I am writing this blog is that I am experiencing that type of self-blaming for that one mistake that I did. Every time I remember such mistake, my chest squeezes itself, and I cringe so badly. You can't help calling yourself stupid just by remembering that mistake. Maybe you blame yourself for how easily it could have been avoid or how much damage it caused.    Here's something worth knowing: whenever you're experiencing emotional distress, no matter how emotionally intelligent you think you are, you are still going to fall for the mistake of self-blaming.
